MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

I'm so proud to welcome you to the 61st year at William B. Travis Elementary, a respectful community of diverse learners, striving to achieve excellence.

 Our staff has more than 267 years of combined classroom experience, and we are focused on one thing-- creating life-long learners who are compassionate, confident, competent, and future-ready! We know your child will love their experience here, and we are deeply appreciative that you have partnered with us in educating them.

Due to Covid-19, there are limited opportunities to be inside our school right now. However, I hope you'll take time to connect with us through a wide variety of available avenues, like Class Dojo, Remind, Ascender Parent Portal, the Pampa ISD app, Canvas, social media outlets, our daily Google Meets office hours, email, or even an "old-fashioned" phone call. We work alongside our parents to educate our students, and take great pride in going above and beyond to serve our Travis Tiger families. Please don't hesitate to let us know what we can do for you!

Campus Meeting

Per Texas Education code regarding public discussion of ratings (TEC §11.253(g): Travis Elementary’s site-based decision-making committee must hold at least one public meeting annually after the receipt of the annual campus accountability rating for discussing the performance of the campus and the campus performance objectives. Travis Elementary will hold our Site-Based Decision-Making Committee on Thursday, October 28, at 5:30. Please contact the office at 669.4950 for more information.

You can now visit your student's virtual campus classroom and explore the "Under Sea" art projects at our elementary campuses and the award-winning art from our Pampa Junior High and Pampa High School art students.
